Tala watched him carefully, a smile crossing her expression. She relaxed as she leaned against him, feeling secure for the first time in a long while. Although she knew the feeling would quickly pass, she relished it for the time being, a soft sigh escaping her. Her almond shaped hazel eyes closed momentarily as she breathed in his scent and absorbed his warmth. Tala breathed in sharply and goose bumps rose along her bronze, sunkissed arms. However, it wasn't' due to a sudden chill.. The temperature in her small apartment was set at 74, per usual.. This was something else.. The sink water dripping from her hair and clothes formed small puddles on the floor, but she'd clean up later when she didn't have such a great distraction before her. ..Or partially beneath her rather. The young girl opened her eyes, her heart beat quickening and her breath sharpening once again as she looked directly into Ura's eyes, her own hazel optics flashing intelligently as she pondered what contemplations were running rampant through his mind. Her smile had faded, and she had taken on a more serious expression, but she was still happy beyond belief, and she didn't need a smile to show it.

Ura sighed, clutching the girl he had somehow fallen in love with in his arms. He closed his eyes and buried his face in her hair with a sudden feeling of loss. Again, he knew it was time to leave. He had to. Ura had obligations much bigger than himself to fulfill. He opened his eyes and mouth, but no words came out. Slowly, he released the very important person he was holding between his arms. He looked at Tala with unsettled eyes, eyes that were filled with regret. What he was about to say, what he knew he had to say, would hurt her. She would think she'd done something wrong, which she hadn't. He bent over, and kissed her forehead. Ura sighed again. "Tala..." He began. "The call I got earlier...I...I have to go..." He looked away, hands on her shoulders for support. This was harder than it should have been, parting from her. He disassembled himself, and walked over to the table. His fingers traced over the plate his grilled cheese sandwich was on. He looked up again, pained. I don't want to go, and I hate the idea of leaving you after you've gone to all the trouble of cooking for me, and then..." Ura looked away again. He didn't ramble. It wasn't something he did. Sucking in, he turned back to Tala, and grabbed the sandwich. "I'll be back," He promised, sticking it in his mouth. He hurried to the door, taking swift steps. His hand closed around the door, and he hesitated. He took the sandwich out of his mouth, and turned around. "I'm sorry, Tala..." And then he opened the door, and walked out. It seemed like a very long five seconds of walking out on his part.
